Fire Safety Fun

On Thursday the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Company came to teach us about fire safety and let us have some fun with the hose!

Each child had a turn seeing what it feels like to be a fire fighter putting out a fire.

The class waited anxiously in line for their turn!

I even got in on the action and may have sprayed a little too close to some of the children ;).

Some got a tad wet!  They had such a blast.

Afterwards we came back inside to 1. calm down and 2. review fire safety.  The children had fun creating pictures and putting together a fire safety booklet, while listening to the Kidz Bop CD Kaden brought in (he chose "Bring in music to listen to" as his homework reward coupon).   I had no idea how many singers and dancers the class was filled with!

And the dance party continued with a conga dance line.  Sorry for the blurry pictures, but the iPhone cannot keep up with such action shots!  Happy weekend!
